As of August, I'm proud to announce that I have finally found myself in another relationship where I feel truly happy! Those butterflies you get as a kid whenever you see your high school crush—yeah, that's exactly how I feel. And it's the best feeling yet! To my surprise, my boyfriend Matt and I met on Bumble. After receiving many warnings from my parents and other family members about staying off dating websites, I decided to take a chance. Both of us were at the same point of wanting to delete the app when we got lucky and met one another. Since then, it’s been an incredible journey. Matt even came to my birthday party and met my crazy friend group. To my delight, all of my friends later said they approved of him and thought we were a great match. Hearing that from the people closest to me meant so much. If I had to pick a favorite memory of us so far, it would definitely be spending the holidays together for the first time. Seeing how well he interacted with my younger cousins was heartwarming. He’s so patient and kind, and it’s clear how much he cares about making a good impression with my family. As for now, we don't have any plans for the future besides maybe having our own place together, but who knows when that'll be. I'd say a slight challenge we've had is me trying not to blow up his phone, but we've found workarounds for that. Thursday will be our first date at a Dallas Stars game. I've never been, but he has.I’m so excited to see where this relationship takes us. It feels like the start of something really special, and I’m grateful every day that we found each other.
I love blues music, especially artists like Jimi Hendrix and SRV (Stevie Ray Vaughan). Their music really resonates with me. When it comes to achieving success or good luck, I'm willing to put in the effort and dedication necessary.
